Title: Advanced Lighting Controls Technologies
Presenter: John Romano – Enlighted Inc
When: 9am - Wednesday, October 5, 2016
Where: Room 304
With the universal acceptance of LED lighting, the rapid change in energy codes, and the continued corporate push to net zero buildings, Advanced Lighting Controls are taking on an important role in the Commercial Built Environment. As these Advanced Lighting Controls become the norm for new construction, tenant fit out, and facilities retrofits, it is important that Architects and other members of the design community have a strong understanding of the various types of technologies that fall under Advanced Lighting Controls as well as the pros and cons of each different platform. This course will provide a definition of Advanced Lighting Controls and explore the various types of technologies and systems that are available today. We will also explore the energy savings and code compliance benefits that Advanced Lighting Controls bring to the table.
