Abstract (Synopsis):
The Internet of Things (IoT) is the rapidly growing network of connected devices that are becoming more prevalent in our daily lives. From devices that track the amount of steps you take in a day to devices that monitor and communicate automobile performance, IoT is already a part of your reality whether you are aware of it or not. This course takes a look at how the IoT is impacting the Commercial Built Environment and changing the way we interact with our buildings. We will explore different applications and technologies that are being deployed in projects across the country as IoT enters main stream building design.

John Romano, Director East Coast Channel Sales
John has over 25 years of experience in the Lighting/Controls/Conservation industry and has been with Enlighted for one year. He has been involved with Enlighted since its inception, but has recently made the jump to Enlighted. Prior to Enlighted John held positions in specification and solution sales with Philips, Unilite Energy and was a partner in Prime Energy Services (an Energy Conservation Provider/Contractor). John has a BS degree in Computer Engineering from Rutgers University.
