Liturgical elements and a luminous vaulted ceiling.

The renovation to St Vincent Basilica created a chapel space within the basement of the 130-year-old structure. Beneath the Basilica is the Cathedral Crypt, with striking stained-glass windows and numerous pieces of art. The lighting was designed to highlight the liturgical elements and created a luminous vaulted ceiling. To create this luminous effect, the lighting designer chose BK Lighting to up-light the vaulted ceilings and EPL downlights to highlight the artifacts. The lighting system was controlled by Lehigh Dimming Controls.
