If you’re currently working for an electrical distributor, electrical manufacturer, or manufacturer’s representative and have strong relationships with electrical contractors, we want to talk to you.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and grow relationships with electrical contractors, estimators, project managers, purchasing departments, and distributors.
  • Make outside sales calls and develop new contractor accounts.
  • Identify commercial construction, renovation, retrofit, and design-build opportunities.
  • Promote premier lighting, lighting controls, and electrical products.
  • Work with contractors on product selection, applications, quotations, substitutions, and technical solutions.
  • Follow projects from the initial opportunity through bidding and order.
  • Work closely with electrical distributors and manufacturers to win projects and grow sales.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and contractor training.
  • Track opportunities and consistently follow up to close business.
  • Attend trade shows, contractor events, and industry meetings.
  • Manage and grow an assigned territory while achieving sales goals.

  • Currently working in electrical distribution or electrical manufacturing
  • An experienced outside salesperson with established contractor relationships
  • A manufacturer’s representative or electrical industry professional looking to advance your career
  • Familiar with commercial electrical construction and the bidding process
