On October 28 th Crafton Borough held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Crafton Blvd Parking Lot and Streetscape Project. The Borough’s vision included lighting, clear crosswalks, and a narrowed street with curb bumpout to better direct traffic.

Gateway Engineers, with the help of Repco II, developed a design using the California Series by NLS Lighting. Using house side shield optics, this prevented light from spilling across property lines at the back of the sidewalk which was important for residential properties. The 3000k color temp worked well in this residential area. The results were great with positive feedback from the community and everyone was pleased with the finished project.
